Coronavirus had a big impact on the mental well being of a lot of people throughout the UK with 2020 and 2021 being particularly tough with isolation measures in place across the country.
BOOM Construction joined forces with TRAC Construction to cycle over 300 miles over 3 days from St Albans to Newcastle during the summer of 2021 to raise money for MIND (the mental health charity). The group of 12 riders completed the challenge that involved the british summertime heat, 5000 feet of climbing and plenty of mechanical failures on route
The team were over the moon to have raised over £34,000 for MIND and even got a feature in our local paper
