SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT OF COMPLEX LOGISTICS.
This residential development delivered 44 new homes, in Deptford in the London Borough of Lewisham. Our works involved the conversion of an industrial building to add two floors in SFS lightweight construction, along with a concrete frame extension from the ground floor up. This project illustrates our ability to deliver high quality residential developments whilst overcoming difficulties that arise from carrying out works within a busy city centre location.
Logistics management was a major consideration on this scheme as our site was landlocked on all sides with a train line running to the rear of the site. We proactively engaged with TfL to obtain approvals and permissions for essential temporary and permanent works. A detailed logistics and site management plan was developed, which was carried throughout the life of the project. This successful management saw us overcome these challenges to successfully deliver this scheme to the highest quality on time and within budget.
Our delivery of show homes ahead of the programme allowed Pocket Living to show these flats, assisting them with early sales, boosting their return on investment at the earliest opportunity.
