Boom was appointed to build the garden room at Horatio's Garden, Stoke Mandeville which opened in 2018 at the National Spinal Injuries Centre in Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The garden aims to support the wellbeing of people who are recovering from spinal injuries. 


The spinal centre at Stoke Mandeville is one of the largest and oldest in the UK. Gardens of this type provide 98% of beneficiaries with an improvement in their wellbeing with 88% reporting that the gardens have supported their mental and physical rehabilitation.
